A common misconception is that Cinco de Mayo is a celebration in honor of Mexican Independence Day, when actually it commemorates the victory of the Mexican Army over the much larger French Empire at the battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Come join us at the Lock and Dam Lounge to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. We'll have a lineup of Mexican beer specials and even a Nacho Dog special from Dawgers Hot Dog Stand.
